Will the video cable for the 1366x768 display be compatible with the 1920x1080 display?

I'm looking for lcd panel for dell xps 15 (40-50 ms way too slow). Specs : FHD, 120 hz, <25 ms (response time). So basically you just need the same pin and size right? Is it possible to find someone in London who is better then average technician who can rewire pin to the compatible one?
The laptop has vertical lines of dead pixels running across the screen and I want to get the LCD replaced. Now the non touch screen model of this laptop has a Full HD variant (1920x1080) as opposed to the standard 1366x768 WXGA HD display while the touch models only come with the WXGA HD LCDs...

I've been on the market for a good gaming cross performance laptop that can handle Maya/C4D + Adobe for a while now. I have $2k budget, and I don't wanna go anywhere below a 2K IPS display laptop. I've had some good quotes so far... this seems or looked to be a good price to performance...
