Question Dell Latitude E5450 Display Upgrade

Hello,

I have a Dell Latitude E5450 with a 1366x768 LCD Screen.

I just ordered a 1920x1080 FHD display from parts-people.com.

Both of the displays have an eDP 30 pin connector.

Will the video cable for the 1366x768 display be compatible with the 1920x1080 display?

If not, will I need to upgrade the video cable as well?

You said both of the screens have the same connector, so why would the video cable need to be changed? New screen has same connection as the old one, so cable would be the same there also.

If you are really worried about it, ask support for the place you got the screen from, if they are selling the screen as compatible with your model they should have info on any tricks needed to make it work.
