I recently picked up an Acer Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop and I would like to use it for showing off VR to friends and family without them having to come to my house. It's advertised as "VR Ready" by Acer, and as far as the specs are concerned it should do all right with most titles. The...
I just recently upgraded my PC with a EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SSC video card. Found out my previous PSU wasn't good enough. Decided to purchase a Cosair CX450 450W (2017).
My next big purchase will be an Oculus Rift. Will the Cosair be enough to power everything up?
CPU: Intel i5 7600k
GPU: EVGA GTX...
I've had this headset for 7 months and haven't had a single problem with it until now. I have no idea why and no reason for this happening. I have tried uninstalling the software, unplugging and plugging it back in, I have tried everything my small mind can think of. I would like some help from...

So I know the PSVR is listed to have an 100 degree of FOV while the Rift and Vive is 110 however those are not necessarily true or exact....
My question is on your experience what one has the better FOV (Non modded "Stock") I use the PSVR adjusted to be as close to my face as possible using the...

Are you required to use Oculus Rift with a PC that only supports heavy gaming if just using for Google Earth Street View? For 80 yr old not play games.
Specs
Windows 10
i5 4690k
EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB SC GAMING
Gigabyte - GA-H81M-S2H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
8gb ram
I just wanted to see people's thoughts on whether this setup would provide a smooth/enjoyable experience with the oculus rift or any suggested upgrades. :>
So I plugged in the USBs and HDMI cables into the right places, and I am 100% sure they work, but the Oculus app just has those spinning circles. The Rift isn't in device manager either.
I have two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 Lightning in SLI, i just ordered the Oculus rift yesterday, will it be good to run on this system?
The rest of the specs are;
i7 at 3.70Hz x 4cores
16 Gigs of ram
Win 10 Pro
PS: I'm like 90% sure it will but still got to ask lol!
Thanks for the help!
My pc has 1 HDMI port on the gpu and 1 HDMI port on the motherboard can i plug my monitor into the HDMI port on my mother board and oculus rift into the gpu?
