I have a 1975 era Teac 360S Cassette deck. At the time of mfg it was a medium level deck. Now, when the power button is pressed, everything lights up as it should, except the red record light also lights up. The record button is does not appear to have any spring attached as do the other...
My Teac 3340S records only on channel 2
All four channels and VU meters working when mikes plugged in and selectors set to "source"; red record lamps light up on channels 2, 3 and 4. (I have not tried changing the bulb yet)
Only channel 2 gives an output when selectors set to "tape"

Hello, I am trying to remove the drive flywheel from my Teac a2300s r2r recorder.I removed the 2 set screws from the flywheel and it still wont come off. It will slide back and forth about 1/2" freely but it still will not come off. I am afraid to force it too much.
What is the difference between these two models: 3340 and 3340-S? And what, in general, would be a reasonable price range for a used, good working order 3340-S? Thanks!
I have a TEAC AN-180 Dolby unit. I dug it out (along with my TEAC a-4300 reel) and discovered i have somehow lost my calibration tape!!! Does anyone have one??? I also need a VU meter as the light is burned out (It still works fine) e-mail prostreetpop1@yahoo.com...

Thanks so much!
Daniel

Hi, I have an old Teac A-4300 r2r machine gathering dust. It weighs
too much to ship and no one wants it. (still works fine). I though I'd
salvage the meters and try and rack them with a handsome hardwood
faceplate for an extra reference, for...
