hello i cant get my webcam to work on my pc keeps telling me it cant find the drivers

How do you turn the webcam on and off for the HP 620 Laptop?

i have a HP pavillionwith YouCam installed on the laptop in order to be able to use the webcam, however my computer says that my computer has not got the driver or hardware to run it. I recently had my laptop wiped of everything as it had a virus and i know this is the reason for the webcam...

It says everything's fine and working but on skype it's just gray with a loading circle. It was working earlier then this problem started. I restored it to an earlier setting and it worked again. Now the same problem is going on. I think maybe some automatic windows update is messing with it?

I have a gateway nv53a laptop. The hard drive quit. I'm using it with my old toshiba hard drive. The webcam don't work. It doesn't show up on the device and driver page. I need to know who made the webcam for this gateway so I can install the proper driver.

After reading about security concerns over webcams I uninstalled the Crystal eye webcam on my Acer Aspire 5745G laptop. And very carefully following the instructions I also edited the registry. How do I restore the registry to restore the web cam on my laptop. Would appreciate any help.
