I am trying to compare them with most likely spec with GTX970M, and Core i7, ...
but msi has more special features. ... and i think it is cheaper...
so...if I were you, I will chose the MSI laptop as my gaming laptop (my bf got one -- GT72 ><"")
Okay, I don't know if UK has lenovo or any of the ones I'm gonna mention below.
Here goes.
Lenovo usually have some diamonds in the rough. I guarantee you, the discrete GPU will die slowly and earlier than other manufacturers.
These are your best bets going with lenovo. http/shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/?menu-id=laptops#facet-11=1,2,3,4,5
Otherwise, with such high budget like yours, I'd go for msi or Eurocom.
These are pretty much guaranteed to serve high speed gameplay even at coniderably cheap prices.
The list below can potentially go over budget.

Buy a laptop from Digital Storm, best company ever, they honor warranties on anything even if you accidentally break a component. They have hands down the best customer service, they sold out of a component for the desktop that i bought from them, and they gave me 4 free games, and a 5 year warranty plus to top it all off they gave me a $400 computer case.
