1394 net adapter

Hello,
1394 net adapter is not working neither is the PCI modem and the SM bus controller too! I do not know what to do! i am using a Toshiba Equium i have gone on the toshiba website! it doesn't list what software i need to download to correct these drivers!! please help what do i do? I am using windows xp!

It sounds like you need to install the chipset drivers. Toshiba's web site should have these. If your laptop came with a CD/DVD, it may be on there.
