I want to replace the motherboard in my hp 15-f009wm with one that will allow for an internal optical drive.

Is this possible??

Hi,

According to some HP support specialist from their support site you need to check first if your laptop can have an internal DVD drive first before going on buying different parts. Remove the plastic cover on the place where the DVD drive is suppose to be located check if there's any port in it because if it does have one your inluck you can just buy an internal DVD drive and plug it in there.
