1st new protein

woo hoo got my first new protein since I began crunching a week or so ago .. so far tho' at 20% not one hit .. all conformers on the current molecules. how often do they send new targets?

They seem to change every few weeks or so I think... Mostly RAF now-a-days... I usually get quite a few "hits" on RAF proteins. Currently 44 hits on my current unit at 31%

yeah that one didnt last long .. not one hit .. got a new one today too and it seems hitless so far also this one one is a prot-tyr-phosphatase whatever the hell that is... looks pretty tho'

I just joined up and am on my third prot-tyr-phosphatase.......first one had 2 hits.....second one had none......and I am 35% percent through the third with 1 hit so far.......and yeah, it does look pretty

I split my computer time between UD and SETI. I like the idea of UD more and feel like I might be doing something that's got some worth. SETI is more just a contest to see how many I can get and can I stay in front of or pass other folks on the THG team!

I'm not one of those types who thinks we're really gonna find anything intelligent out there... shoot, there's barely anything intelligent down here! ;P
