The FCC issued a progress report of WLNP on 5/13/2004

It says even Michael Powell, Chairman of the FCC moved his number (and
he did it in a CircuitCity), so we know he didn't move to Sprint,
possibly to Verizon, also possibly T-Mobile.

Circuit City dropping Sprint was reported here:

===================================

A possible winner in all this is T-Mobile which added almost three times
as many new customers in the first quarter as Sprint PCS did.

T-Mobile adds 1.2 Million, compared with 414,000 Sprint PCS added in Q1
2004.

Interesting figures. I wonder what will happen when WLNP opens up to
everyone instead of just the top 100 markets. Or has that already
happened? I have lost track. :)

May 24, and some of the smaller landlines are balking. CenturyTel has
already been fined by the FCC.
