Hi, I have bose soundlink mini as my main speaker, and it is connected to my PC.
secondly, I am planning to buy Echo Dot (for the smart services only). I might connect my spotify there to listen my music (so I can say, "alexa play song from spotify"). Now, obviously, I want the music to out to my Bose speaker, so it will sound nicer. I think it would be very rarely for me to both at the same time, (the only possible scenarios I can think of is when I was watching movie, then I say alexa increase volume or smoething like that). Would it work if I connect it to my alexa and pc (as input) to my bose speaker (output)? If so, which tools should I buy? Would this work? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M315XJT/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A65F3AFZ1DIWL&psc=1
thank you

Solution
Leave PC connected to Bose with cable. Connect Echo Dot with Bluetooth.
The cable you've referenced serves other purpose - to split phone headset connector (four-prong) into headphones and microphone.
