Solved! 2 audio sources, 1 mixer, output into my headset only works through left ear

To preface this, i have little to no in-depth understanding of how mixers are supposed to function, so I apologize if this is some error of my end. anywho...

I bought a few of tech things this Cyber Monday, only thing of concern here is a Depusheng MicroMix DH400. I have audio from my laptop as well as my small TV plugged into said mixer in order to not have to un- and re-plug my headset into whichever device I desire to use. Issue is, despite having proper chords and 1/8 to 1/4 adapters, the output sound going into my headset is only coming out the left side. Is there a driver update or some fundamental mixer concept that I missed? Any help or insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

the description of this mixer says: MONO, so no stereo signal -> only one channel comes out of it

If you don't want to listen to both the TV and PC simultaneously you don't need a mixer. A simpler input selector will work fine.
