Hey,

should i go for EliteBook 2570p (i5-3360m, 8GB RAM, 180GB SSD, 12,5 inch HD ready screen)

or pay 20 USD more for

ThinkPad T430 (i5-3320m, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, 14 inch HD+ screen)

I´m student, traveling a lot (laptop is in my backpack) , need it for web, word, excel, powerpoint and light gaming (football manager and BF2) and i´m a big guy :D 190cm

The Elitebook is about 3.6lbs as opposed to about 5.15lbs for the ThinkPad so Elitebook is both smaller and lighter to carry around. A 1.55lbs difference is pretty significant. If I had carry the laptop with me all the time, then I would begrudgingly choose the Elitebook. I say "begrudgingly" because I actually prefer the size of a 14" laptop and the ThinkPad has a 1600x900 resolution screen. I really do not like using laptops with 1366x768 resolution screens because I like to see a lot of data on the screen at once and 1366x768 does not allow for that. But... as I have stated 1.55lbs is a pretty significant difference.

Neither will game so scratch that.
The thinpad is overall worse except for the screen where it has better colours, viewing angles and a slightly higher resolution.
Keep in mind that both will most likely need new batteries considering these are quite old.
How much are these?
