These are the sites I´ve been visiting frequently.

<A HREF="http://www.3dcafe.com/asp/default.asp" target="_new">3D Cafe</A>
<A HREF="http://www.raph.com/3dartists/" target="_new">3D Artist</A>

3D Cafe is probably one of the most known 3D websites out there and 3D Artist is THE website for talented artists.
They also have some interviews with people doing 3D, very interesting stuff.

as with any program, just go through some of the included tutorials, and learn the rest yourself, trust me anyone can do it if they really want to, and youll be more satisfied with yourself once you have.
P.S. can i pleeeease have 3dsm on a disc mailed to my house if you are a very nice person and im sure you are you wouldnt mind doing that for a "forum friend" woulda ya? i got bryce 5, maya, but i dont know ne1 with 3dsm, and i really dont want to dload that huge prog on 56k! (sux for me i know) if you could please help me out (or know someone who would) i would be VERY grateful, my email is leemspencer@mindspring.com, heres what you can do if you didnt know, im pretty sure you can send a letter/whatever without paying postage (if you really dont want to), u just send it, and when it gets to me, i have to pay for it (via putting money in the mailbox for the guy to take).

The first LAN party I went to was at a PETA convention. They booted me when I shot a crab in HL!<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1><EM>Edited by Willamette_Sucks on 08/26/02 11:48 PM.</EM></FONT></P>

I agree with Willamette.
Check the included tutorials and helpfiles.
When I first used 3DMAX I checked those, sure it takes time but eventually the pieces fall to place.

Books? there are tons of books out there that explains the fundamentals of 3DMAX...

Hmm, otherwise...why not ask a master instead (me)
