4K Upscaling Question

Here is another probably stupid question for the helpful folks on this forum: I have a new LG 55UF7600, a new Samsung BD -J7500 and a new Denon Receiver AVR-S710W. I have the Bluray and cable box connected via HDMI to the receiver and then the receiver to the TV via HDMI. The TV and the Bluray both upscale to 4K but the receiver does not. If the TV upscales everything to 4K do I need to receiver to also - since everything is connected to the receiver? If so - I guess I need a different receiver. I am hoping that the fact that the TV upscales solves the problem but I don't know enough to know. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Solution
Since the receiver supports HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2 it if fully compatible with 4k.
You only need to have non 4k video upscaled once. Your TV will do this for the cable box. Whether the upscaling is better in the TV or BD player is the question. I doubt you can turn it off on the TV but you may be able to defeat it on the BD player. Try it and see if you can see a difference. I suspect that the TV will do the job best.

Thank you so much. Very helpful. I was able to turn it off in the BD. I watched the exact same segment of a show on Netflix with the upscaling off and with it on. There was no discernible difference so I went ahead and left it on. Thanks again.
