54mm usb 3.0 AEK expresscars

I purchased a 3 port AKE 54mm usb 3.0 expresscard. When I inserted it into my Toshiba L305 Laptop the card was seen but I could not find drivers for it. I upgraded the Laptop to Windows 10 Pro. When I insert the same expresscard now, the Laptop goes to an immediate BSOF. When I remove the card and reboot the Laptop everything is back to normal. Same computer, different OS. I would love to have USB 3.0 available on this computer. What do I need to do?

I moved the expresscard to my wife's L305 running Windows 7 Home 64 bit. After finding the proper driver it works on her system.
