7300 Battery Life

Has anyone had any battery issues or powering on/off issues with the 7300? I
am planning to get this phone in the next week or so as part of my upgrade
and had heard through some ppl at the store about issues with the battery
not lasting more than a day (even with direct connect turned off) and that
the phone won't power on at times.

I own an RL2500 (almost identical to 7300) and with a few caveats,
battery life can be excellent:


If the ReadyLink Service is on, it is a drain on battery life.

Tricks for longer battery life between charges:

1. Turn off ReadyLink Service. It makes a major difference ! ! !

2. Set phone for "PCS only" Network usage. (analog usage drains
the battery).

3. Turn off Animations in the display settings.

Undoubtably any phone may act weird if its battery is nearly drained.
