Check the instructions that came with the controls.
I would say that you would set the VC for x6. If you had x4 that would allow for more power from the receiver but x2 is going to shut down or blow the receiver.
One pair of speakers connects to each VC speaker terminals as marked. + & -. Left & Right
The VCs can be wired in parallel to the speaker terminals of the receiver.
If the receiver has speaker A and B you can connect one VC to each.
