8730m or 740m

I cant decide between
Dell inspiron 3251: i5 3337u 1.8ghz turbo 2.7
ati radeon 8730m 2gb
4 gb ram
or Asus k56cb: i3 3217 u 1.8ghz
nvidia gt 740m 2gb
8gb ram
Can you help me which of these laptops are better for gaming latest games?

None of these are good enough. Light weight and gaming performance aren't compatible, u could only choose performance or light weight.

Both CPUs are subdued, if u insist of course i5 does a better job. HD 8730m is slightly slower than 740M so these two gfx are nearly even. Better get a i5-3210/3230m CPU to provide enough gaming power and 740M should be fine.

BTW, could u tell us the budget and which country u'r in?

I think i wont need better cpu than this i5 but im worried about graphic is hd 8730m good enough for playing latest games on medium or high on 1336x768 resolution. Games like Battlefield 3, Assassins Creed 3 and games that are coming like Battlefield 4, GTA 5 and Assassins Creed 4. Thanks for answering.

Both these gfx could run these games smooth in medium settings. However, unless u get a i5-3210M/3230M or better the CPU will bottleneck the gaming. (Don't use a i5/i7-3xxxU for gaming)

I would love to, but i cant configure my laptop, this two laptops are the best i found which i can afford. Others are like good processor i3 i5 (3110..) with bad graphic 7670m or gt 710m,so i decided to go for good graphic and less good processor. Thanks for answering.

I think i've mentioned what my choice. U could put another 4GB RAM in the future, it won't cost too much (but not guarantee the low price in your country,usually in US it costs $40-60, it's clear that u'r not in the US/Canada,probably in Europe, there isn't such Dell 3251 model in North America).

Personally I don't think 7670M that bad (GT 630M < HD 7670M < GT 640M). If I were u, I would rather choose i3-3110m/i5-3210m+HD 7670M than i3/i5-3xxxU, it has low CPU freq and bad cooling IMO. If CPU too low, it WILL bottleneck the GPU.

My mistake 3521. I found other one Samsung NP370R5E with i3 3120 2.5ghz and 8750m 1 gb and 4gb ram, and i think i'm gonna go for it, it seems good for gaming.

Yup, it's a good idea to go for i3-3120m. It does a better job than i5-3337u though it doesn't have turbo boost like i5-3210m/3230m does
