I am looking for the gaming laptop under 800-900. I found two of them.
One is Lenovo Legion Y520 (8GB RAM , 256 GB SSD, core i5 7300 HQ, NVidia 1050 Ti 4GB) ~ 800$ from Lenovo website after student discount (Damn. I missed deal of 760 as I was away)

The other is Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series (16GB RAM , 512 GB SSD, core i7 7700 HQ, NVidia 1050 4GB) ~ 880 from Adorama eBay.

I was thinking that Dell is probably better bang for buck after hearing some stories from three of my friends. They said that buying from lenovo is like gamble as something went wrong with their lenovo laptops (screen/hard disk failure) right after the warranty period.

Which is better bang for the buck ?

(Another choice is MSI with 8gb ram / 1tb HDD/ i5 7300 HQ / nvidia 1050 2GB ~ 629$)

Thanks a lot.
I forgot to mention this. I am also considering ASUS FX502VM with specs ~ core i5 6300 HQ, 16GB RAM , 1TB 7200 rpm, NVIDIA 1060 3GB ~ 900$

(Acer Predator's price of ~1100-1200 seems to be above my budget and moreover that beast is very heavy.)

MERGED QUESTION
Question from Chandra Kanth : "Lenovo Legion Y520 vs Asus FX502VM"

I am considering the following two laptops.

1) Lenovo Legion Y520 (IPS screen, 7th generation core i5 7300HQ, 8GB/256GB SSD, NVIDIA 1050Ti 4GB) ~ 810$ after the tax and student discount

2) Asus FX520VM (Non-IPS screen I suppose, 6th generation core i5 6300HQ, 16GB RAM, 1TB 7200 rpm, NVIDIA 1060 3GB) ~ 880$ taxfree

(I was initially also considering Acer Predator Helios 300 with core i7 7700 HQ, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, NVIDIA 1060 6GB but it was well above my budget with price tag of 1100-1200$ and bulky)

Thanks !
