So just got my new Y50-70 Touch. After the initial set up, the icon for the Nvidia experience said there was an update, but when I tried it said "failed to connect to Nvidia" I downloaded the WHQL from a 3rd party, and clicked custom to try to get a fresh install. It deleted the driver and then at the end failed to install. I reinstalled the basic driver and restarted. After reinstalling I realized the initial install had deleted the Nvidia experience as well. So I downloaded the WHQL from Nvidia, ran as admin, and used Express settings. Everything was installed flawlessly in less than a minute and everything is up to date. The device manager recognizes the card and update and the resolution is fine. HOWEVER, for some reason the Game Optimization is not available, even though the system specs are definitely up to par. Just for reference here are the specs. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
