Question A crack between the display and the phone body

As a result of a fall (me and the phone both) I see that now the phone isn't straight anymore but somewhat curved, and there is a gap between the display and the body of the phone, where the light shines out.
I add two links with the images (the interface doesnt allow me to post images directly).
I have two questions I would be very happy if you could give me your input for:

• how long could i expect the phone to continue living? It has been a bit more than 24h and it is alive (at the moment most phones I would like are sold out, or outside my budget, but Im worried mine would die and sudddenly I have nothing)
• should i try to seal the gap, and how?

No way at all to guess if there will be a future time where the phone will fail.
Of course it's best to get it sealed again but there is a decent chance something will break if you try to bend it into shape again. You may want to just leave it as it is since it's working. I will try that.
For now it is still alive, but there is a bit of a shadow along the crack visible on the screen, and that is not a good sign. I have got another phone and am using that one.
