A Laptop for an Engineering Student? Can you help?

I'm about to be an engineering student and need a good laptop that can handle all the software I'm going to need installed.

I would like a very light and portable one and have been looking at the Zenbook Prime (the one with an i7 and 256 GB of SSD storage) and was wondering if this ultrabook could handle the strain of CAD software and other engineering applications. Thank you for your input.

If you want to run CAD software you should go with a mobile workstation graphics card, like the Quadro series from Nvidia.. not intergrated garbage from Intel.
