A lot of confusion

Hi! I am a mechanical engineering student and want to buy a laptop.I am looking at a dell with ryzen 5 2500U with vega 8 graphics.Will it suffice my engineering software needs because many of designing softwares have dedicated graphics memory requirement.So how much dedicated graphics memory does ryzen have?

It doesn't have any. It uses the RAM for it's memory. It's hard to compare.
