Apparently, if the pilot episode is any indication, ABC's new series LOST
will not be aired in hi-def.

While you can't believe anything See BS says, at least when they're making
stuff up, they do it in HD more often than anybody else.

Well that's weird............

The 2nd half hour is being shown in hi-def.

Same here in Detroit.

Pretty decent show, as far as network programming goes. Interesting
to see what the "thing" is!

"Lost" was in HDTV where I live and looked real good. I like ABC's
720 signal best of all the networks. It should be titled Pretending
to be Lost in Kuai, however.

That airport show, LAX or something, was in standard definition the
first episode but HDTV the 2nd. I think that is because the orginal
pilot was filmed cheap to save money and then switched to HDTV when
the show was sold. I doubt that show will survive, however.

The show was shown entirely in Hi-Def (16:9 widescreen) here in
Houston. Sometimes local networks don't "flip the switch" when they
should.

Lost was in HD in Raleigh, NC. I really enjoyed this show,
I hope it survives (pun).

Both episodes of LAX were in HD in Raleigh, NC.

==================
Why, in this modern age, should they even HAVE to "flip a switch"?
It happens all the time on our local NBC affilliate.

Correction to my own message. It was HD for the full hour...
Responded to the wrong person.

I thought some scenery looked familiar! (Been 30 years, too.)
