Acer 5336 keyboard problem

when typing sometimes the text goes in the wrong place and also my posting gets sent before I want it to and my fingers are nowhere near the enter button

This happens to me to and I found that I accidentally and unknowingly hit the touchpad.To remedy this I disable use an external mouse and have the touchpad disable itself when another mouse is plugged in.

Thanks a lot for that reply,I attached a usb wired mouse and it seems to have worked,took a while to find out how to disable the touchpad,quiet simple once you know just use fn button+f7 I have just typed a long letter and have had no problems,but very strange not to have a touchpad,I will look to see if it is possible to make the touchpad less sensitive and try that at least I have a solution,thanks again.

LoL - I had actually come to hate the touchpad until then. I still carry a mouse with me.

Hmm. Thanks Jarotech. My driver has an option for that too but it doesnt work so well. LoL
I'll have to give it a try.
