Some options to increase the sound are 1) double-click on the little speaker icon on the right hand side of your Windows taskbar. Raise the volume sliders. 2) Attach powered speakers, getting around the crappy little speakers inherent in notebook computers. 3) This is the high-end audio part of the forum. To get high-end sound out of that, run a USB cable to this: http/www.raysamuelsaudio.com/products/predator , and then feed the headphone output into these: http/www.akg.com/personal/K%20701,pcp_id,165,pid,1,_psmand,1.html . That's what I'm listening to at the moment at work, and it is high-end indeed.
