I was wondering if there'd be any issues if I stuck the exact same motherboard in mine except it has an ati 5650 on it(theres a gaming version of my laptop).

laptops aren't really upgradeable and aren't designed to be. They are designed for the components they came with and cooling is designed around that as well. If your trying to replace the motherboard your basically replacing the entire laptop. Its going to be a huge pain and probably wont work. And it will invalidate your windows license. You'd be better off selling your laptop and buying another new or used.

Already took mine apart, molding defects had to drill whole for the fan to properly ventilate. But in a hypothetical perfect situation COULD this work. Ive spent countless hours looking into laptop upgrade, read that this would work w/ my laptop but need some more validation.
