Acer Aspire 6930 bios

Hello, first of all allow me to apologize if this is a repeating thread or if it goes in the wrong place, but i have searched the internet up and down for the last 3-4 days and couldn't find my solution anywhere.

-The problem: i have an Acer Aspire 6930 with black screen of death, tried all other methods to bypass it, which brings me to the conclusion that i need to run a bios flash, that's all good, except the only bios versions for my 6930 come in the form of .exe which won't activate my bios flash, i have tried extracting the .exe to no avail, i have tried the 3121 version of the bios and would not trigger the flash either, even more the software for creating the boot usb / dvd won't work with the files on that version of the bios, claiming it misses the dos file.

-The question: could help me locate a loose version of the bios which comes in any other way that's not .exe or a bios that would allow me to phlash bios from boot, that would help me solve my problem?

1. Create a bootable USB stick to flash the BIOS. For this you'll need some special files. Borrow another computer and go to:
https/www.biosflash.com/e/download.htm?id=25&dl=bios/ubbe.zip
... and download the 6MB ZIP file. It's a German site but all files are available in English.
2. Extract the zipped files and click your way down to 'boot_usb_stick'.
3. Run the 'HP_USB_Disk_Storage_Format_Toolv2.2.3.exe' file as administrator.
4. Now you'll see the HP Disk Format interface. Locate your USB stick under Device, select 'FAT32' under File System, leave Volume Label blank, tick Quick Format and tick Create a DOS startup disk. Select the library called 'usbdos'. The 3 system files are hidden, but they are there. Click Start.

Now you have a USB stick with the DOS system files necessary to boot into your BIOS. It may seem empty, but as I said, the system files are hidden.
5. Download the BIOS file v3238 from Acer's web page onto the USB stick.
6. Insert the USB in your computer and start up.

OK, close the HP Disk Format utility, and right-click on the USB and select format. Under File system, select FAT, or NTFS or exFAT - and try again with the HP utility each time. Of course, the file system selected for the USB must match the file system selected in the HP utility.

If this doesn't work, then I'm afraid I'm out of ammo.
