Acer Aspire 6935G power problem

I have an Acer laptop (mentioned in the title)... Today it suddenly turned off without any previous sign of some problem ( I was just browsing) it was connected to a charger so I tought that the electricity went off but no. From that moment it wont start from battery or from the charger...none of the lights come on what can tell that is actually connected or charging or whatever... The only think is there is a silent click noise from the laptop.. Approx. one click per sec. Any ideas what can be the problem? Thank you in advance.

If you could, verify the voltage from your charger, the voltage is written on the charger.

Original charger...sadly I don't have a voltage meter with me
but definitely gonna check it out tomorrow....hopefully the problem is with the charger...(the indicator LED is lighting on the charger but maybe doesn't go further)

could be static discharge issue unplug charger and battery hold power button for one minute then plug it all back in and try to power up

Hi, did you ever get to the bottom of this, mine is doing the same thing with clicking noise?
