Solved! Acer Aspire dead

Acer Aspire E1 microsoft update screen is now black. Dead. No fan nothing. I do have the blue lights blinking along the bottom of the laptop whatever that means. Tried:
removing battery; tried disconnecting the adapter and hold the power down with FN;
can't see anything when shine light. dead dead dead...help
