Acer Aspire E5-575-52DA is not turning on. The blue light is on but nothing on the screen pops up.. please help me

Please help. I have an Acer Aspire E5-575-52DA

It was working properly for a month but today when I shut down my laptop... I saw the blue light is still on after a few minutes. I thought I clicked "sleep" instead of shut down so I tried clicking my keyboard/mouse to turn it back on but it doesnt.

I tried clicking the power again but it still doesnt open... When I tried if my laptop can still charge and the charging is still working..

Please help me fix this. It doesn't have removable battery so I dont know what to do

Some sleep functions require a light touch on the power button to bring them out of slumber. Hopefully, yours is one of those.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the light touch on the power button earlier too but it still doesn't work. I also waited after a few minutes if it will just turn on late but it did not. 🙁

Try pressing the power button for eight to ten seconds to make sure the machine is turned off. Then it should restart.

It worked! The blue light disappeared. And when I try to open it again, it's now working. Thank you so much!

I'm sorry I dont have a solution, I was hoping you managed to fix yours cause mine is doing the same, any luck?

He saidd his works now. It must have been on all the time so it needed a full ten second press on the power button. He did that and it turned off then back on when he wanted it to .
