Acer Aspire M laptop, always has done this: restart doesn't, it just shuts down
no power button settings or profiles affect it. there are no UEFI BIOS settings that relate to this either.
what can I do to get 'restart' to actually restart?
this is a horrible problem with WIN 10 installs, as it has to restart several times to update features, and I have to physically start it again in the morning to take up mid-stream from an overnight update.

system error 7023
Warning 4 MEIx64 not installed
II would be better to reinstall a new
Intel Management Engine Interface driver either at Acer or Intel Support sites.
What is the model of your Acer Aspire? Mine is a515-54G

Frank, thank you Soooo much... It's done this since day 1 and the Best Buy team sayz uh, dunno...
originally came w the ill fated win8, then 8.1 then 10... restart has never worked.
I disabled the intel engine, shut down, then tried a restart and whatta ya know, it restarted...
