Acer Aspire microphone not working ,please anyone can help me??

i have a acer aspire E1-571 model laptop and i dont know what happin now becoze the microphone is not working when i used skype or anyother video calling sources it is a builtinn microphone it was working before if u please help me out

Try reinstalling the audio drivers for you laptop, you can get them from Acer's website http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

You have checked that the Mic isn't muted in the Audio settings right?

Are you using a headset with no mic?if yes have you tried it with your headset unplugged?
