Acer Aspire TimelineX AS5820T-6401 FAN SPEED UP AND FROZE UP

HELLO...
I have a Acer Aspire TimelineX AS5820T-6401, and recently it starts acting weird, it happened in two condition once a while ( maybe 5 times a week)

---I heard the CPU fan speed way up, and the laptop froze up and I have to force the laptop to shut down by pressing the power button and restart again ( and it will be fine), it happened when
1. When I first power the laptop on.
2. When I wake the laptop up from sleep.
--however, it only happened when I have the laptop on AC power.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with the laptop?

I am having the exact same problem with our ACER TimelineX. The screen stays blank and the fan is spinning up. This can occur after turning it on or on resume from sleep. Requires a hard reset to make it work again.

Additionally the laptop sometimes freezes up from the windows desktop.Again, requiring a hard reset.

I had this laptop shipped to Acer TWICE. They were not able to fix it, stating they could not replicate the problem.
Well, the freezes are frequent enough to render this machine useless.

The usual fixes (restoring Windows 7, checking on device manager, BIOS update, etc.) did not work for me. I am going to ship the machine back to Acer once again.
