Happy New Year to all, can anyone help me, acer aspire V3-572 would not boot up, so next time i tried to boot up no joy, so just left it on and it eventually did boot up, but it is very slow, it takes ages to go from one site to the next one, maybe 3 to 5 minutes, I tried to to reset back to factory settings but it would not allow me to do it, any help would be very much appreciated,

it is possible you have bad sectors on your hard drive as ran into similar problem with a customer's laptop with a dying hard drive.

Thankyou ffg7 for replying to my acer aspire problems, I guess its going to cost me quite a bit to repair its not long out of 12 month guarrantee thanks again for help. from patdom.

do you have your recovery disk made? new laptop drives are not that expensive plus have longer warranty compared to 1yr for laptop.
