Will Skyrim be able to play on ultra settings on laptop with these specs??
Intel Core i7 2670QM(2.20GHz)
17.3"
8GB Memory
750GB HDD 5400rpm

I saw that... but I doubt it would be a 'high' settings, plus its got an Atom CPU... I just don't think I could spend $1000 on an Atom CPU, regardless of what form factor it came in... :/

the timeline ultra m3 (which has an inferior processor to yours and the same gpu) was benched with skyrim

At native res )1366*768) it got an average of 45 fps. And this is with fraps recording, meaning it would likely have gotten closer to 50 without fraps. Skyrim is cpu intensive and since all else is the same, you should easily pull more than 30 fps at ultra with your system...at 1366*768
