Help please
My brother just dropped mylaptop
Acer. Aspire Vn7 - 591G
Processor intel(R) Core (TM) i5 -4210H CPU @ 2.90GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 12.0 GB
64 bit processor
It has two drives
Acer C (43.4 GB total) and data D (1TB total)
Before he dropped the laptop i could run all my games smoothley, i could multitask and have everything running at once.
Now. The only way i can watch a movie, use applications and/or open any type of file
Is if i transfer the one file i want to use. Over from my Data D drive to my Acer C drove. As anything and everything i run from there works perfectly fine. However anything i try and run from Data D runs incredibly slow. Even to open a folder takes around 5-10 minutes.
If i want to watch a film. It takes about one hour just to transfer the file from data d over to C
This makes me think it is a problem with the actual data D drive?
I have just moved to spain ajd dont speak the language so i dont want to take it to a computer shop and have them wipe it as everything i have is on that drive (as i didnt back it up as i usually do)
So i am hoping to fix this manually)
Thank you guys for reading this
