Acer C710-2834 Upgradability

I recently purchased an Acer C710-2834 Chromebook. It comes stock with 2 GB RAM and a 16 GB mSata SSD. I upgraded to 4GB RAM and everything works fantastically. Acer support insists "their information" tells them that the hard drive cannot be upgraded. This makes no sense to me at all. Has anyone tried upgrading the drive or explain why the device could only support such a small capacity drive?

I saw this and this is for the Chromebook that uses the standard internal sata HDD. the C710-2834 uses mSata. It is just a card no larger in size than one of the old time 56K internal modem riser cards.

Why did you say that you have a mSata SSD. Did you remove the bottom and you found that kind of drive? Every site I went, never mention the mSata SSD even for your model number 2834.
