acer chromebook c910 creen just went black?

I was on the web last night and I thought my bat. died both lights went red. I plugged the power cord in and it didn't change anything, I let it charge all night and still nothing. I plugged usb in to T.V. and it is fine. but Chromebook screen is not coming on.

if chromebook displays ok on tv but not on own screen then sounds like either the screen or the screen's backlight has died. put a flashlight up against the screen to see if can see anything in the background.
