Acer Laptop Won't Charge When Plugged In

I have an Acer mini laptop, and I've had it for a while... At least 4 years I think. A while ago I had trouble with the power connection, it turned out to be the charger itself. But then soon after, it happened again and this time it wasn't the charger. The battery light would blink orange saying I wasn't charging, even though it was plugged in. I found that moving the charger around to specific positions helped, but now I'm moving it around and it's not working at all. Is it something wrong with my battery or something else?

I would guess that it's time to replace the battery. 4 years is a good run for a laptop battery but there is a finite number of times it can be charged and discharged before it kicks the bucket.
