Hello,
My Acer Aspire V3-551G overheats when ever I play graphics intense games such as Crysis 2 and Civilization 5. The overheating is not caused by blocked fan. It occurs even when the laptop is on a hard wood surface.
What I want to do is increase the fan speed.
I have tried SpeedFan, but to no avail.
It appears the fan speed is locked in the bios.
Is there any way to increase its speed by a third party program or setting?
Thank you.
