I for one would much rather be robbed blind professionally, then having some desperate drug addict wave a gun in my face.

Usually these kind of maneuvers are left the jewelery thieves?

Anyways I would check the security tapes for the month during business hours to identify any shady types that could physically pull these feats off, they most likely would wander in and wander out a couple of different times without purchasing anything.

Except that no business I know keeps video for a month. They would be lucky to have 7 days worth of tapes on hand, and then they would probably be on 6 sec time lapse, so the images would suck anyway.

Inside job? Maybe, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the logistics of this one. Plus I have everything I need to pull it off in my truck right now.... except the 130 accomplice.

Inside job?
hardly.......

Its not that hard to walk into a store and look around for the cameras while pretending to checkout the hardware. And the theives being what they are -- probably know exactly what to look for.

As for apple vs pc? They took what was small, light, expensive, and easily re-sold.

ninja thieves ftw

and yeah, i dont think their stealing apple products was an endorsement, it just makes sense stealing X amount of really expensive macs instead of X amount of reasonably prices PCs.

Not mission impossible reminiscent… Manalapan NJ store robbery reminiscent of 2002 where the SAME EXACT THING was done on the daylight savings time day (in order for the robbers to gain an extra hour) to pull off a (close to) $200,000.00 heist

So they do it MI style in New Jersey,,,, yet folks in new york just throw a brick through the window and get 6 guys to go down the window and heist the items in under 13 seconds.... Remember that vid?

Dont you get it guys? they stole $26k worth of new apple laptops, and since best buy have removed the older mbps from their inventory it must be the new ones that are to be released the 14th march, or is it just me thinking that?

This exact same thing happened at my local Futureshop. Though they got into the department store beside Futureshop, rappelled down to the floor, and cut a 3 foot hole in the wall, right into the laptop section. They made out with $72,000 in laptops.
