Hello; I just put a bunch of new appointments into my desktop outlook
calendar. I then deleted all entries on my handheld(ppc). I then tried to
activesync between my desktop and ppc. Not only did just some of my
appointments transfer to my ppc, many appointments on my desktop were
deleted. Why? Also, where did these files go. To Limboland. Can I retrieve
them in some hidden file on my desktop or ppc? I don't want to re-enter all
that information again. I also have no confidence that if I do, the same
thing won't happen again. I have read plenty on rules, partnerships, but
synching should not result in deleting. Remember, nothing was on my ppc.
All files should have transferred. Please help, Gregg

Synchronisation means just that - making both parts the same.
If the appointments were deleted on your PPC, they would also
be deleted in Outlook, and vice versa.

You could always restore your Outlook.pst file from a recent backup,
or possibly check your Deleted Items folder in Outlook to see if they
are in there.
