I may put a website that will direct you to make $60 donations to a vet charity of your choice and then link you to a torrent of MW2.
Actually I'm far too lazy for that, but someone should. Fuck IW.

[citation][nom]onebadmomo[/nom]IW and Activision did screw the pootch when it comes to MW2 for PC. Granted. But to put them down in any way for supporting vets is stupid. ya, they get publicity, ya they get tax breaks, but the system is set up that way to encourage companies with money to donate to charities. Working as intended! [/citation]

The issue is not them giving the money, we need it, have you seen some of the facilities these places have to run out of? My problem is with Activision\IW's loyalty issues and trying to turn a profit through name recognition. JUMPING JESUS CHRIST ON A CRACKER, do not start another organization, fund the ones in place that need funding. They are not offering anything that is not already available. And keep your franchise name off it.

Lol. I've never understood the phrase "Jumping Jesus Christ on a cracker." Does it have anything to do with that religion fad going around? :) Btw, nice move IW. It's almost as if you took the money from those who made you successful in the first place and made a game off of those who have no money. This should have been done after the first one took off.

The true irony here is the fact that while developers go on about piracy and its affect on profit, the only true anti piracy measure they have is great online multiplayer, people have to buy a genuine copy to get in on the action. So what does this mean?

MODERN WARFARE 2 WILL BREAK THE RECORD FOR THE MOST PIRATED GAME EVER RELEASED BECAUSE WITH NO REAL MULTIPLAYER LIFESPAN ITS NOT WORTH FUCKING BUYING. WAKE UP ACTIVISION, WAKE UP INFINITY.

Activision/IW...tell us exactly how much are you donating per copy...where exactly are the funds going. This must be some kind of joke.

Happy Veterans Day, all. Thank you, fellow veterans, for your service. And thank you, all our supporters.

Your idea could work there. I'm sorry but I don't have good enough english to ask them to do it.

i'm 60% done with downloading skidrow's release of this game. i am amazed at how many people are seeding this thing already. just love the sharing community these days..

At least they are doing something unlike 99% of the people out there and 99.9% of the people who post here. Incredible when a good act is condemned, but just shows the selfish myopia of people today. Of course profits drive the donation. It's like being amazed if you dad tells you that his wages pay for rent, how else is a company going to get money to do anything in the first place? Oh I forgot, there was a survey that showed a whole bunch of kids thought money came from the ATM, it just never occurred to them that money has to be earned somehow, all they knew was that if they wanted it, they just went to the ATM. I wouldn't be surprised if 50% of the posters here thought that. And games come from a torrent network too, yup, just shows up by magic all programmed and done, there's no need to pay anyone because the torrent creates it all.
