Adam Audio P11A bass problem

Hi everyone!
I have a serious problem. I have a pair of P11A monitors and when i set them on my "working" table and tweeter is opposite my ears, low frequences disappear, but when P11s are on the ground, i can hear bass and low frequencies are enough. Is it normal or speaker`s defect? Any ideas? I can not produce music, when i don`t hear low frequencies...It is horrible. I upgraded my audio setup for "better" which is worse.

That is correct. Low frequencies depend on a continuous surface such as floor or wall to propagate.
Unless you have the footing, the low frequencies will disappear.
No, you are not imagining this. It's quite true.

Probably one of the first persons to describe this was Roy Allison. He built speakers to solve the problems.

Ok..
well i have to look for subwoofer for P11`s. I can create mix and they sound very well but i prefer more low frequencies/bass when i produce/mix music.
Is it good solution? P11s + subwoofer (not only Adam`s)? Can I use the budget subwoofer? like Samson Resolv, Esi, Tapco...
