Adding Bluetooth speakers without canceling out headphone jack

I have a boutique . For music I have an old iPhone plugged into an amplifier that's hooked up to speakers in my ceiling. I bought nice outdoor BT speakers and can connect it to the iPhone but it then cancels out the speakers in my ceiling. Anyone have any suggestions?

Two options top of my head:

1. An IOS music App that can output to both simultaneously, I dunno if such animal exists.
2. Buy a BT transmitter with gain control and hookup through existing stereo via Y-cable. So iPhone ---> Stereo ---> own speakers + BT transmitter.
