adjust picture -it is streched from top to bottom mans head is small compared to his body

I just bought an LG 70uj6570 tv ....how do I adjust the picture ....while watching the TV a person is standing --the head is smaller than his body. how do I adjust the tv so that the head and body are proportioned --are natural looking.

I would take the set back to where you purchased it. I don't believe that is something that is an adjustment. Or if it is, it shouldn't be required right out of the box.

THANK YOU......Maybe it the model on the TV but you would think that there would be an adjustment.

Most TVs have a button on the remote to fill the 16:9 aspect ration screen when a 4:3 program is playing. The name of the function varies. The manual will tell you which one it is.
Also if you use a set top box it may be set to output in 4:3. Set it to 16:9 in the set up menu.
