Advice on buying gaming laptop

I have a budget of about £1600($2500) and am looking forward a solid gaming laptop it seems like a good time to buy with intel releasing its haswell processors and NeVida with its new range. I don't want to have to pay extra for brands like Alienware which over charge in my opinion. At the moment I am thinking about something like the MSI GE60 2OE with SSD, or the razor blade the later a bit overpriced for specs though. But I am open to all suggestions. So any advice would be awesome.

Consider the Razer blade pro: http/www.razerzone.com/store/razer-blade-pro it is one super powerful laptop. It is not chunky like alienware lappies. I think the razer blade pro is definitely worth it for all the features you get and because of how portable it is compared with alienware. Another thing you might consider is a Mac Book Pro. Sure, you want to run windows games but you can just install windows on it in bootcamp anyway. Apple definitely knows how to make laptops. However, if i were you, I would go for the Razer Blade Pro. You can get the 256GB for $2500.

It's about 1000 USD cheaper.

Sorry, I disagree. I had the Blade 2012, and was about to po for the blade 2013 when I chose the GS70 stealth instead. It's far better featured, faster and $1k cheaper then the blade.

Well then go for it. if thats what he thinks is better, then thats the one he should get. I personally have just had bad experiences with msi and have heard horror stories about their parts. Its up to him though.

Rashkea where did u but yours from? I can't find any online most websites say the release date is like 15/08/13 so in like a week? Also does the company u bought from deliver to the UK?

I bought mine in a shop in Singapore, just walked in and bought it. I don't think they deliver all the way to the UK though. 😀

Agreed! Don't get me wrong, I love the Razer stuff and was very happy with the 2012 Blade, but right now I gotta say MSI is impressive as heck.

Last MY FOOT! I live in South Africa and we only get things about 6 months after they are released in America.
