I recently replace a fan in my HP laptop 15-ba113cl

I took off the case and was able to install the laptop with no problem I did have to Jimmy with the case a little bit, but other than that no issue. I connected my battery back in and turned on the laptop and it did turn on it worked fine and then I turned it off to see if it would work and it did. So I left it alone for a couple of days and when I came back to use my laptop it did not turn on I lifted my laptop and it sounded like there was something loose on the inside so I opened the laptop again and there was a tiny loose screw not on the motherboard but on a part of the laptop where there is metal. Did my motherboard short out?

Edit: I'm charging it and the LED light for the charger turns on.
